Australia will miss the services of Mitchell Swamp, Mitchell Starc and Marcus Stoinis on the T20 international tour in India three games after the trio was knocked out of the series on Wednesday due to injury. While Starc suffered a knee injury, Marsh and Stoinis were ruled out respectively due to ankle and side problems. According to cricket.com.au, the injury is minor but Cricket Australia has decided not to take the risk so that the players attending the T20 World Cup will be playing at home, starting next month.

Recent developments will further deplete Australia’s roster because David Warner was rested for the tour.

Australian selectors included Nathan Ellis, Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott replacement for Starc, Marsh and Stoinis.

While Marsh and Stoinis suffered injuries in the ODI series against Zimbabwe and New Zealand, Starc’s was ruled out late after a knee shoot on Wednesday.
