MINI Aceman SE 2024 launched in Thailand – smaller than Countryman; 405km WLTP EV range; priced from RM255k
After its world debut in April this year, MINI Aceman has now been launched in Thailand. The compact SUV, which sits between Copper And Compatriot in the brand’s lineup, offered as a single SE variant priced at 1.999 million baht (about RM255,000).
For this price, the Aceman SE is equipped with a front-mounted electric motor with a capacity of 218 PS (215 horsepower or 160 kW) and a torque of 330 Nm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds as well as a top speed of 170 km/h.
The electric motor draws power from a 54.2 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 405 km according to the WLTP standard. In terms of charging, the Aceman in the SE version supports AC charging at a maximum power of 11 kW, with a full charge time from 0-100% of the battery in five hours and 45 minutes. There is also DC charging at a maximum of 95 kW, which charges the battery from 10-80% in just 31 minutes.
If you’re curious how big the Aceman is, it measures 4,076mm long, 1,754mm wide, 1,515mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,606mm. This puts it between the MINI Cooper (3,858mm long, 2,526mm wheelbase) and the Countryman (4,433mm long, 2,692mm wheelbase) in terms of footprint.
The Thailand-spec Aceman comes as standard with 18-inch ‘Night Flash Spoke’ two-tone alloy wheels, LED headlights with high-beam assist, panoramic glass sunroof, roof rails, Vescin synthetic leather (in Nightshade Blue or Beige), ‘Favoured’ interior, John Cooper Works sports seats, sports steering wheel, round OLED touchscreen, wireless charger, Harman Kardon sound system, head-up display and MINI Experience Mode.
