Mike Tyson had an unpleasant experience at a comedy show Tuesday night in Hollywood, California.
The former heavyweight champion and some friends were enjoying a practice session at a rooftop venue when a man approached Tyson and started talking to him, according to a person familiar with the matter. TMZ . Report.
Witnesses told TMZ that the man eventually challenged Tyson to a fight in an attempt to improve what he called his “status.” The event host asked the man to leave, at which point he drew his gun.

The man clearly thought better of a bad decision and put the gun away, at which point he asked Tyson not to be embarrassed not to call the police.
The retired boxer, who grew up in the rugged Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York, listened to what the man had to say and then hugged him. The man left the scene a few minutes later.
Police never received a call about the incident, TMZ reported.
