Migration becomes trending theme at New York Fashion Week |

The project’s beneficiaries are migrants and members of the local and wider community, such as: local fashion brands and designers, artists, craftsmen, private sector individuals, media and volunteers.

This year, the initiative was included in one of the most prestigious fashion events of the year, New York Fashion Week, for a special event related to No Nation Fashion, the National Fashion Academy. economics and students from Ohio’s Kent State University.

The No Nation Fashion collection is the product of a creative collaboration between migrants and the Bosnian fashion industry, under the creative direction of Aleksandra Lovrić, a renowned national designer.

Three outfits were introduced at the event, designed to reflect the journey of migrants, from the earliest nomadic lifestyles; resilience and the ability to rebuild and adapt; and integration, through cultural and social integration in their destinations.

Laura Lungarotti said: “We are delighted that the No Nation Fashion brand has reached New York – a city known for its art, fashion and cultural diversity.
