A major new analysis by Michael Kelly on the viability of Net Zero:

Former Conservative Party leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith has called for an “honest and open debate” on Net Zero, warning that politicians have not scrutinized the demands and said they must balance equal to the public in terms of the necessary sacrifices.
He also highlighted the UK’s lack of energy security and Western Europe’s dependence on Russian gas.
Sir Iain’s remarks, in the preface to a new report published by the Global Warming Policy Foundation, reflect the growing alarm among Conservatives about an election backlash that could be may occur after the cost of living crisis and the new perception of threat. Net Zero project represents national security.
The report by Professor Michael Kelly FRS examines the scope of the Net Zero project and considers the financial, resource and human requirements, concluding that the economic and political volatility necessary for success is impossible thing to do.
Sir Iain Duncan Smith says:
“We owe it to the citizens of the UK to have an insight into which way to go. Policymakers must be honest and open with the British public about how much all of this will cost them and how much change may be needed to our daily lives.
Professor Kelly says:
“The scale of this project, in terms of resources and time, is so great that a war platform and a command economy will be essential to its implementation.”

The report is worth bookmarking as it covers all practical aspects of achieving Net Zero:
