Mexican authorities issue subpoena in Shanquella Robinson’s death

At least one of the “friends” to go with Shanquella Robinson at the time of her death will soon face the Mexican authorities.

According to multiple reports, a local prosecutor announced an active arrest warrant on Wednesday. Prosecutor Daniel de la Rosa Anaya has named the woman in the viral video fighting with Shanquella as a “direct invader.” Extradition request is said to be working for Dejahnae Jackson.

“This case has been fully cleared up, we even had a court order, an arrest warrant issued for the murder of a woman to harm the victim and against the alleged perpetrator,” a statement said. her friend, the direct aggressor. It wasn’t actually an argument, but rather a direct aggression,” Daniel said. “We are taking all the appropriate procedures such as Interpol warning and extradition request to the United States. It’s about two Americans, the victim and the perpetrator.”

Meanwhile, just a few days ago, the FBI office in Charlotte confirmed Shade room that they are investigating the case. Now, the “friend,” seen delivering a series of punches to Shanquella’s body and head in the leaked holiday footage, will answer about her involvement in Robinson’s death.

What happened to Shanquella Robinson?

As previously reported, Shanquella passed away while celebrating the birthday of one of her friends. She was in Mexico with a group of about six people, who eventually returned to the United States bodyless after her death.

Shanquella’s mother, Salamondra, received conflicting reports of her daughter’s death from the group. While in Mexico, she received a call about Shanquella feeling unwell, suffering from alcohol poisoning and losing her pulse.

Salamondra later received an autopsy report from Mexican officials that concluded alcohol was not the cause of Shanquella’s death. Instead, it was reported that she broke her neck and fractured her spine from the beating. Although the U.S. State Department in Mexico initially denied Robinson’s death was a homicide, a video of Dejahnae beating Shanquella naked and unwilling to fight suggests a violent ending.

Police report adds to the autopsy report details

According to recently reviewed excerpts from a Mexican police report, a doctor spent nearly three hours with Robinson before her death. The report said the tour group requested medical assistance at around 2:13 pm. A local doctor, Dr. Gutiérrez from the American Medical Center, arrived an hour later. Upon arrival, Dr. Gutiérrez attempted to give Shanquella an IV after her friends insisted that she had “Drink a lot of alcohol.” However, it was not successful. Robinson maintains “stable vital signs” despite being dehydrated and incapable of verbal communication.

After the examination, the doctor told her friends to drive Robinson to the hospital, but they insisted on being treated in their resort villa. An hour after Dr. Gutiérrez arrived, Shanquella had a seizure and someone called 911. Medical professionals began CPR after losing his pulse at 4:49 pm. About 30 minutes later, the medical staff “performed a total of 14 rounds of CPR, five doses of adrenaline, and six electrical discharges (failed AED shock.”)

Officials announced the 25-year-old died at 5:57 p.m. on October 29 — about 24 hours after arriving in Cabo San Lucas. The police report did not mention anything about the physical injuries described in the autopsy report. Additionally, its timeline differs from an autopsy, which states that medical professionals arrived to treat Shanquella at 3 p.m. and that she died within 15 minutes of arrival.

It is unclear what charges Dejahnae Jackson faces in the case and whether the extradition will take place before the December holiday. Shanquella’s mother reacted to the arrest warrant in a comment to ABC news on Wednesday.

“I feel very good, it is a good feeling. That’s what we’ve been waiting for, someone is ultimately held accountable and arrested. I just can’t wait for justice to be done,” Salamondra said.
