Meta will launch new VR headset in October, Zuckerberg tells Rogan

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that his company will launch a new virtual reality headset in October, typically the month the company holds its Connect VR conference.

Speaking on an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast published Thursday, the Facebook founder said Meta’s next VR headset will contain new features aimed at helping users experience a sense of “social presence.” festival”.

Zuckerberg said the new VR headset will have more advanced eye and face tracking features. These features will help when people smile or frown, he explains, their digital avatar will behave similarly in virtual reality.
