Mercedes-Maybach teases first electric SUV
Mercedes-Maybach released a single teaser image of it SUV EQS 680 ahead of its April 17 debut at Auto Shanghai in China.
It will take the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV model and add various Maybach design traits plus a more powerful powertrain.

The flagship EQS 580 4Matic also features a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup with a total system output of 400kW And 858Nm
The entire EQS SUV lineup has 107.8kWh The lithium-ion battery pack can provide a claimed range of 600 km during the harsher WLTP test cycle.
In September 2021, Mercedes-Maybach unveils a Concept version of EQS SUV at the Munich auto show.
The concept uses the same Electric Vehicle Architecture (EVA) as the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV and EQS fastback, EQE sedan and smaller EQE SUV.
It follows traditional Mercedes-Maybach design ethos with chrome trim, chrome waterfall grille, two-tone paint scheme, Maybach badging on the D-pillar and ‘Bowl’ design alloy wheels ‘ reckless.
The driver’s side door opens automatically when approaching, while the remote control function is available for the rest of the vehicle’s doors.
Inside the cabin, Mercedes-Maybach includes the EQS SUV’s MBUX Super Screen with digital instrument cluster, center touchscreen and front passenger display in one cluster.
The concept features a luxurious two-seat second row with a prominent center console, something that could appear on the production model.
Last August Mercedes-Benz begins production of its EQS SUV in the United States before Australia is coming in the first quarter of this year.
