Action RPG by FuRyu Trinity Trigger will launch in Japan in just a few weeks, but today, XSEED Games announced that they will be bringing the game to the West Coast next year!
With staff including world bodybuilder Yuki Nobuteru (Secret of Mana), character design by Raita Kazama (Chronicles of Xenoblade), a story written by writer Yura Kubota (Octopath Tourists), and music by famous RPG composer Hiroki Kikuta (Mana’s Secret). Gods”!
XSEED shared some features for the game, which will release on Switch next year:
MAIN FUNCTION
Master the weapons of the gods – Solve puzzles and defeat enemies alone or with friends in local co-op as players traverse each Arma’s dungeons, towers made from fallen weapons of the gods.
Searching for the mysteries of Trinitia – Reveal hidden passages by exploring every last bit of Trinitia’s diverse biomes and conversing with townspeople for clues to uncover the closely guarded secrets of the forests, deserts, snow fields and more.
Changing the Tide of Battle – Master the Weapon Wheel in battle to switch between eight weapons on the fly – every enemy has a weakness and finding and exploiting it is key to victory.
Generation epic role-playing – Trinity Trigger is inspired by last year’s iconic RPGs, but its accessible and rewarding gameplay combines with modern developments to make it an exciting new adventure.
We’ve been keeping an eye on this ever since the game’s main visual was dropped, and it really feels like a lovely throwback to sitting in front of our Super Nintendo while playing Secret of Mana.
