According to the Mladenovac Foundation, the Mladenovac Dog Rescue, a puppy was found living in a birdcage. It sounds odd and absurd. Could this be true? They weren’t sure, but they had to find out for sure. Rescuers got into their vehicle and drove to the address provided by the caller. They pulled to the outside of the house that was running down, and rescuers advanced to the driveway. In the yard there is a giant blue birdcage that shocks them!

A small puppy is trapped inside the cage, crying to be released. She happily spoke to the rescuers as if she understood that this might be her chance to be free. One of the men banged on the door, but no one answered. He approached the puppy closer.
Because the birdcage was exposed and she was not protected from inclement weather, they were legally allowed to arrest her. The man opened the birdcage door and lifted her up. She is so small! She is less than a month old! This dog owner is a real monster. Mini is eager to go to a nice place where everyone will love and take care of her.

Mini was rescued, and rescuers called to arrange her adoption. She is quickly placed in a loving environment where she will never be imprisoned again. This story and fortunately, the happy rescue should serve as a reminder that animal cruelty exists at all levels of society. If you notice something amiss, please notify the authorities immediately. Call your local government and let them know what’s going on, and they’ll be able to assist you. We are very excited about the future prospects of Mini. She will have an incredible life ahead of her!
