Here are a few ways you can generate more revenue whether we’re in a recession or a big economy. Think outside, friends. You’ve got this!
Say Hello in Mail!
One way you can earn extra income from photography is simply by visiting your old job. Think of all the mail that you receive every day. That’s a lot of spam, political mailings, bills and solicitations from credit card companies. Now, imagine a handwritten card from someone you know! That’s the photographer you hired to photograph your baby or your wedding. They don’t simply say hello, but also send a print of their favorite. It was a gift, a kind note and a pleasant surprise!
“Out of eyes, out of mind” is no more! The chances of them needing photos for something or knowing someone are higher than you can imagine.
This is another great way to generate more revenue. The real estate market is always an interesting place. Think high house prices, big commission checks and the amount of money flowing through that market.
Then imagine a real estate agent trying to quickly demolish a $750k house. They will need to make sure the house looks fancy by staging it. For a modern home, they will need modern photography. For a home that overlooks a beautiful lake, they may want to photograph the landscape.
Imagine a real estate agent or staging company looking at all the work. They have to frame it, credit it, and make sure it’s copyrighted for their social media posts. It was a great pain!
Now, imagine giving a catalog of pictures they could order. You will have an initial investment in the frame, but you can always change the photos. Do they need 20 portraits hanging around the house? You can rent them out for $25 per month. That’s about $500 per month as a rental fee and you’ll get the photos back to use for another location!
