Earlier today, Safaree apologized to his former ‘Love And Hip Hop: Hollywood’ co-star Lyrica Anderson for falsely claiming he was intimate with her, following her comments about the show especially VH1’s recent ‘Where Are They Now’. During the special ceremony, Lyrica Anderson shared how the lie affected her and her subsequent marriage to ex-husband Sprng BRK officially known as A1 Bentley. As we previously reported, Safaree posted a couple of tweets acknowledging that he was ‘cappin’ for the cameras.
“I just wanted to make it clear that Lyrica and I never even came close to messing around,” Safaree tweeted. “Lowkey, me and A1 made it all. We are on TV. We had a job to do, and we did it. “
Although Safaree apologized, Lyrica silently reminded us, so we reached out to the singer/songwriter for tea and see if she would accept his apology. Lyrica told us exclusively,
“I am not replying or commenting on the post because you say anything other than what I have said so far, IT DOESN’T HAPPEN!!! However, there is nothing more humiliating than a woman being accused of something she didn’t do and then that lie has wings.”
Lyrica went on to explain that the challenge is
“It is heartbreaking to hear and live through the years. Now Safaree has apologized to me privately and I’m glad he did it publicly. I am in a positive place in my life and there is no room for negativity. Hopefully, we can now resolve this situation. Blessing.”
Some roommates have called Safaree corny and a liar. Even Lyrica’s mother, Lyrica Garrett, stepped into the Shadow Room to defend her daughter.
