Live score 49ers vs. Titans, updates, highlights from NFL’s ‘Thursday Night Football’
The Titans will host the 49ers in Thursday night’s battle with playoff implications for both teams.
After a 19-13 loss to the Steelers, the Titans (9-5) will look to stay at the top of the AFC South standings. A win over San Francisco would put Tennessee above Indianapolis (8-6), which has won eight of its past 11 games after starting the season 0-3.
In the Steelers defeat, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw just 153 yards and put the ball past twice. Tennessee’s offensive went much better on the ground with the team rushing over 200 yards, including 108 yards from a rerun of D’Onta Foreman. However, with AJ Brown leading the way, Tannehill should be able to find more successful shots.

Meanwhile, the 49ers (8-6) are hoping to extend their winning streak to three games and hold onto the NFC wildcard spot. Kyle Juszczyk, Deebo Samuel and Jeff Wilson Jr each scored hasty touchdowns in Sunday’s win over Atlanta, but it can be difficult to find a run against Tennessee. The Titans are second in the league for javelin allowed per game (86.9) just behind Raven (86.2).
