When four-year-old Elle Rose and two-year-old Ivy London were told they were getting a surprise, they had no idea how much fun the surprise would be.
Their reaction to the surprise was captured on video and it was incredibly sweet.
In the video you can see Rebecca Dawson, 40, telling the girls that their dad is at home. They excitedly ran to the door to look out because they knew he was bringing a surprise.
They eagerly followed their father as he walked through the door, hugging a unicorn bed, which he said was their surprise. It’s a cute pillow and the girls love it!
Then he took out two small bowls and set them on the floor. He tells the girls that the bowls are also part of their surprise and that they happily sit around with the bowls, unaware that the best part of the surprise is still ahead.
Finally, he reveals the final installment – a tiny, cuddly, gray Burmese kitten, named Posie Rosie by the girls.
Rebecca shared in a Instagram post that they’ve been planning the surprise since last Christmas when Elle requested a cat from Santa.
At the time, they couldn’t get a cat, but they kept the idea in mind as they researched and planned the months ahead.
In one track post, Rebecca shared that after two weeks together, “Dear girls [the cat] and she loves them. ”
She added in the post, “Sadie and Posie are still getting to know and have had some squealing, stroking and chasing, I’m sure they’ll end up being best friends.”
