Eclipse’s Purebred Partners, Joseph Graffeo, Erik Nikolaus Del Toro and Troy Johnson’s Child Lima was named the Texas Horse of the Year by the Texas Breeds Association for 2021. The Lima was also named the 3-year-old Texas Crossbreed Champion for 2021 after a remarkable season.

The Dam of Lima, Second Street City, was named Texas Breeder of the Year for 2021, while Kuhlmann was TTA’s Rancher of the Year 2021.
The top earner recognized by Texas for 2021 is Douglas Scharbauer.
The human awards — the TI “Pops” Harkins Award for lifetime achievement and the Allen Bogan Memorial Award for TTA member of the year — will be announced at a later date.
