Lessons every new photographer needs to learn
Being new to photography can be a bit daunting, requiring you to tackle multiple creative and technical ideas and approaches simultaneously. However, there is a lesson that beginner photographers should learn as soon as possible, as it will save them a lot of money, while also helping them get better faster. This important video discusses the topic and how to get you on the right track.
Coming to you from David ManningThis excellent video discusses the importance of investing your time, energy and money in education instead of equipment. Beginner (and more experienced) photographers tend to see gear as a path to growth. I was definitely guilty of this in my first few years. However, modern cameras and lenses are very good, even at the entry level. And even those basic cameras can take us a lot further than we usually realize. The idea, however, is not to tie yourself to certain devices, but to focus on developing your technique and creativity by investing in practice and education, rather than persuasion. Better pictures themselves can be obtained with your credit card. Check out the video above for a full rundown from Manning.
