LDV Maxus territory: China’s Ford Everest rival is equipped with a mild hybrid diesel engine

China’s LDV, branded Maxus outside of Australia, has revealed a potential discount competitor to the Ford Everest, Toyota Prado and Isuzu MU-X – using the Australian-linked domestic market nameplate. .

The Maxus Territory is said to be similar to the D90 on the outside but has a new front fascia with slimmer headlights and a larger grille, while along the side there are flared plastic wheel arches for an off-road look. .

The LDV/Maxus Territory dimensions are 5046mm long, 2016mm wide, 1876mm tall and have a 2950mm wheelbase – 41mm longer and 84mm wider than the LDV D90, on the same wheelbase.

The interior is very different from the older D90, with a full digital instrument cluster, a large tablet-style display, a cleaner vent design, a central tunnel grip, and a row of buttons and buttons. rotate 4×4.
