KHRC Committee approves double entry rule adjustment


The Kentucky Equestrian Commission’s rules committee unanimously introduced a petition on January 17 that would allow trainers to run two horses in an overnight race without losing the right of way when the race is over. race is withdrawn too.

The rules do not apply to bet races, such as the Kentucky Derby (G1), where it is not uncommon for a coach to have two or more entries in a race that is often oversubscribed.
