Kell Brook’s Future Still Undecided, Still Open to Eubank and Benn Fights

Kell Brook is still weighing his options two weeks after his one-way win over Amir Khan.

A sixth-round win over Khan gave Brook his biggest win since beating Shawn Porter for the IBF Welterweight title eight years ago.

Although Brook and Khan appeared to end their bitter feud in their post-match press conference, there was speculation that Khan could trigger the rematch clause for a second fight.

Brook, who turned 36 in May, has been implicated in several more money fights in the UK but has yet to decide what to do about his future.

Brook told Sky Sports: “I’m open to talking about the names and the matches the fans want. “But I am still in a position where I have to do what? Do I call it a day? With the right conversation and the right opponent for me, we can fight. I am interested in Eubank [Jr] fight and war with Conor Benn.

I’m very interested in their matches. They are great battles. Matches that I can definitely get into and definitely crowd-pleasers. “

In recent interviews, Eubank Jr insisted he would only fight Brook if he reached the middleweight limit of 160lbs and not the 155lbs the Sheffield man suggested.

Benn returns to action next month and has previously said he’d be open to fighting Brook if he could agree on weights.
