Katt Williams Roasts Michael Blackson for claiming MLK Jr has ‘chicken on the white side’
Katt Williams called Michael Blackson after the comedian suggested that Martin Luther King Jr. there is “a rooster on the white side.”
“I don’t mean to start off without sheets but I heard that Martin Luther King has a chicken on the white side. Is that true,” Blackson tweeted. “I’m just a beechn*gga from a small village, so let me know.”
“C**n questions,” Williams replied in the comments.
The white woman in question is Betty Moitz and her name is in David Garrow’s 1986 MLK biography, Bearing The Cross. In his 1964 biography, Lerone Bennett quoted King as saying, “She liked me and I found myself liking her. But in the end I had to resolutely tell her that my plans for the future did not include being marry a white woman.”
The former couple were said to be “crazy in love” at the time, but there is no solid evidence that the relationship was real. Bringing it up on MLK Day was not a smart move on his part.
