Julio Lugo, former MLB player, dies aged 45
In a tweet, the Red Sox send condolences for the Lugo family.
No cause of death has been given for Lugo, who will turn 46 on Tuesday.

Former players also pay tribute to Lugo.
Will Middlebrooks, a former The Red Sox’s Third Gunner, said he met Lugo during spring training in 2008 with the Lowell Spinners minor league team. “He spent some time with us with the young kids at Ft.
