Jose Mourinho after Roma’s loss to Inter: Managers have a harder time than the media
Jose Mourinho refused to answer questions after Roma’s 3-0 Serie A loss to Inter and got into an argument with a reporter.
He said in a press conference that being a manager is much harder than being a journalist, and that’s why “we make more than you”.
Instead of responding to the team’s performance, he gave a brief monologue and left the press conference.

“Your job is a lot easier than ours, that’s why we make more money than you,” the Roma manager told the reporter who first tried to ask a question.

In his monologue, Mourinho said: “I apologize to the studio, the people at home, who might be interested in their questions.
“Inter are stronger than us in normal conditions. Under unusual conditions, they are much stronger than us. Last season, they were 29 points ahead of Roma. Today, with injuries and suspended players, it was very, very difficult.
“Our offensive potential is practically nil. Scoring is very important, because we will only have two or three chances. We had three and didn’t score.
THAN: Christian Eriksen returns to training at home
“When you play against a defender with [Roger] Ibanez and many others in their not-so-conventional positions, you still can’t concede the first and the third. You just can’t. ”
Mourinho’s army is starting to lose the top spot in Serie A, when Roma (5th, 25th) is currently 13 points (38 points) behind the top team AC Milan with 22 games remaining in the season.
Roma have now lost four league games in a row and four of their last six, and Mourinho is starting to return to the same old patterns seen during some of his previous coaching tenures.
Against Inter, Roma are second so far, as the visitors let Mourinho beat Mourinho 3-0 in the first half of his coaching career before slamming the ball after half-time.
