Jonah Hill to play John Daly in upcoming biopic about ‘bad boy golfing’, according to reports

John Daly is one of golf’s biggest personalities, and now he’s going to be the subject of a feature film. Jonah Hill will play Daly in the upcoming biopic about the golfer, on a report from On Line.

Daly is known as the “bad boy golfing”, and he is a controversial figure in the sports world. According to Above The Line, the film will address Daly’s “outrageous acts, scandals and sporting achievements” throughout his career.

Hill has shown versatility throughout her acting career, doing everything from comedies to dramas. Hill received an Academy Award nomination for her supporting roles in The The Wolf of Wall Street and Moneyball. Most recently, Hill played a role in 2021 Don’t look up.

The movie will be directed by Anthony Maras, director of the year 2018 Mumbai Hotel.

On the field, Daly has been on the PGA Tour since he made his debut in 1991. In his 31 years on the tour, Daly has five career wins and has won the PGA Championship (1991) and The Open Championship (1995). He also finished third at The masters 1993. In 2004, Daly was named PGA Tour Returning Player of the Year after soaring in the world golf rankings.

In 2022, Daly has a pair that finished in the top 20. He’s eighth at the US Home Insurance Championship and he’s 19th at the Constellation Furyk & Friends tournament.
