Jermell Charlo Wants The Doubleheader Family: “Put Benavidez and His F*cking Brother In It, I’ll Fight Brother”

Jermell Charlo has become ailing and weary of the growing belief that his twin brother and current WBC middleweight holder, Jermall Charlo, does not want to give up the previously mentioned crown to face super-middleweight contender, David Benavidez.

Jermall, a native of Houston, Texas, has been with Benavidez several times over social media. In the mind of the middleweight belt holder, a competition with Benavidez would send the Mexican product to the emergency room. But, despite his warnings, Benavidez is still anxious for Charlo to prove he has business sense in the ring.

Even if Benavidez moves one weight higher, he believes his confrontation with Jermall will produce fan-friendly fireworks. However, while Benavidez respects what Jermall has to offer, he is confident in his ability to give him the worst fight of his career.

With Jermall refusing to put on weight to put Benavidez ahead of his challenge, the two-times super-middleweight player believes Jermall’s refusal to fight him is a sign of weakness. However, as Benavidez continued to poke fun at and oppose his men, Jermell had heard enough.

“We would go in there with any mother,” Jermell said in an interview with ESNEWS. “Put Benavidez’s ass in there, why not? Put her mother in there. He af * cking stud, he af * cking stud. Put Benavidez in there”.

Despite Jermell’s insistence that his brother be more than capable of defeating Benavidez, both men will continue to go their separate ways…at least for now.

In the case of 25-year-old Benavidez, he will be one step closer to his former championship position. On May 21, Benavidez will attempt to dazzle his hometown Phoenix crowd, when he takes on tough opponent, David Lemieux. The winner of their upcoming clash will wrap a temporary WBC tiara around their waist.

As for Jermall, he won’t sit idly by. In his fifth attempt to defend his WBC middleweight belt, Jermall will face veteran laner, Maciej Sulecki, on June 18.

Not surprisingly, Jermell expects his twin to come out of his confrontation with Sulecki relatively peacefully. Provided Jermall takes care of the business, and Jermell goes on to beat Brian Castano on May 14, the current young unified middleweight champion has an attractive doubles proposition.

In an attempt to prove that the Charlo name is superior to the Benavidez team, Jermell is currently aiming for a showdown with Jose Benavidez Jr., David’s brother. The 29-year-old recently returned to the ring in November 2021 against Francisco Emanuel Torres. In his first game at £154, Jose was forced to settle for a majority draw.

However, although Jose is still not considered a legitimate candidate, Jermell believes this current family feud should be resolved as soon as possible.

“Put Benavidez and his mother in there. I’ll fight brother, you fight big f*cker mom. We do not give af*ck. ”
