For the ceremony that followed, J.Lo had three — count ‘three — different wedding dresses, all designed by Ralph Lauren. Are you still with me?
In spite of Vogue Exclusive to J.Lo’s professional images of wedding dresses, her stylist Rob Zangardi shared some behind-the-scenes photos that we absolutely love. In a press release, Ralph Lauren detailed exactly what created the first three dresses: “The handkerchief wedding dress emulates the high-necked bodice with dramatic ruching. More than 1,000 hand-cut handkerchiefs and 500 meters of fabric are cut into ruffles and hand-sewn, creating a flowing, romantic gown. layered, pleated from the back of the turtleneck to the shoulders for a romantic, heritage-inspired feel.”
This was followed by a hand-embroidered dress studded with thousands of pearls along with silk tulle and Swarovski crystals.
