The demand for spay/neuter services in Mexico is huge. This is our third clinic there since August 2021, and it certainly won’t be the last.

That’s why PETA’s mobile clinic travels to impoverished areas near the Sam Simon Center — our headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia — to perform life-changing/psychic surgeries.
It’s no surprise that guardians eagerly expect their dogs to be euthanized and euthanized, as it not only prevents litters of puppies from adding to the overpopulation crisis, but also prevents or dramatically reduces them. It includes an increased risk of many life-threatening conditions — including ovarian, uterine, breast, prostate, and testicular cancers.
One of the dogs killed at this special event was Chickis — a sweet dachshund that had previously been abandoned on the roof with your partner during heavy pregnancy. The two dogs are there because 15 days before being rescued by a kind citizen. Each was killed or disabled, and the parents and their newborn puppies are now being adopted.

Another dog helped by PETA Latino’s clinic this week is Beba. She was found on the street by a young man who brought her home to meet his parents. She is underweight, seems to have had multiple litters of puppies before, and is suffering from a nasty skin condition. The family decided to adopt her, and she was taken to the clinic on Valentine’s Day!

During the event, PETA Latino also played Spanish vegan starter kit and copies of The life of a dog children’s comic, which tells the story of three kind children who save a dog from a lonely life on a leash, to inspire children to show compassion for animals, like a rescuer Beba’s young did.
