Instagram has removed DJ Akademiks’ main Instagram account.
After his page was deleted, Ak posted a message to his fans letting them know he was involved in the incident.
“Find out what happened to @akademiks, my main Instagram staffer. Talk to smart agents to find out what matches are going on,” he wrote.
Some argue that Ak may have been hit with a copyright infringement claim.
Last week, Ak met up with rapper iLoveMakonnen on Twitter.
“Why are you spreading lies and starting rumors about me being the girl?” Makonnen tweeted to Akademiks. “I made it for @Akademiks you wouldn’t have had it if it weren’t for me. I’m not proud of it, but I made that crappy burger.”
“Nurse…he’s out again!!!!” Ak tweeted back.
iLoveMakonnen went mainstream a few days ago after he announced that he started this “gay sh*t” genre with rap, not Lil Nas X.
“This gay sh*t is the hardest one anyone can do. Like you guys don’t understand the days a gay will come,” he tweeted. “My creative levels maybe only a gay man can handle. You all can be who you are. I love you all. I’m loved by all of you. guys. I’m going to teach you to love yourself so you don’t have to follow the evil ways that everyone else is doing.”
