GoPro revealed HERO11 Black in mid-September boasting a new 27MP sensor with an 8:7 aspect ratio and 10-bit 5.3K/60p video recording, among other changes. Luckily, though, there’s one thing they haven’t changed — the physical box for all these electronic tricks. That’s good news for anyone making GoPro accessories, as compatibility seems to be guaranteed. Example: Backscatter now lists FLIP filter and MacroMate Mini . close-up lens like for HERO 11 — as well as every other GoPro back to HERO5.
Japanese company Inon has now officially confirmed that this is also the case for its accessories, which are built around the company. SD Front Mask and M67 . Filter Adapter, designed for HERO9 but compatible with HERO10 and HERO11. The Filter Adapter makes it possible to use Inon’s UW Interchangeable Red Filter, and the SD Front Mask allows you to easily mount semi-fisheye wet (UFL-G140 SD) and close-up lenses wide (UCL-G165 SD) by Inon.
