Indonesian volcano: Villages buried under hot ash

A huge cloud of hot ash engulfed villages in eastern Java on Saturday as Mount Semeru erupted.

Emergency authorities said 14 people died and dozens were injured.

Rescuers in Lumajang district are searching for survivors amid the devastation.
