India vs Hong Kong: Hong Kong cricketer Kinchit Shah proposes to his girlfriend after the Asian Cup match.

Hong Kong put on a spirited performance even as they lost 40 games to India in the Asian Cup on Wednesday. And while the outcome may have been a disappointing one, the night turned out to be one to remember for Hong Kong smasher Kinchit Shah. After the match, Kinchit took to the stands at the Dubai International Stadium to surprise his girlfriend and then knelt down to ask questions. She looked completely taken aback by the proposal and was heard repeatedly saying “I can’t believe this” as Kinchit waited patiently, a grin on her face.

In the end, she went on to say “Of course” and he continued to put the ring on her before the happy couple hugged.

Videos and photos of his marriage proposal went viral on social media, with fans praising the heartwarming moment.

During the match, 28 excellent tackles 62 * from Suryakumar Yadav and undefeated 44-ball 59 helped India to a total of 192/2 after Hong Kong put them in a knock-out position.

After a slow start, India looked set for an extra total, but Suryakumar was furious at death to change the course of the rounds. He hit four innings and six six – four of which came in the closing final.

Hong Kong showed intent to the bat in Powerplay, but once the Indian spinning players entered the field, they were gone.

Babar Hayat scored their top scorer with 35 41 tackles, while Kinchit Shah made 20 28 tackles.

In the end they finished with 152/5.

Hong Kong still has hope of reaching the Super-4 round of the Asian Cup but they need to beat Pakistan in the final Group A match to make it happen.
