I just put my dog down. I died knowing this 12 months ago!

👆 This is my baby Daisy.

In this photo, the girl is only 7 years old.

Oh, what would I give to go back to this age and know what I know today! About 2 years ago, I first started noticing the signs.

Daisy used to greet me every day at the door when I got home from work. At first, she greeted me more slowly. And then it completely stopped. She was still excited to see me, and when I walked into the living room, her tail was wagging excitedly off the bed. I saw her struggle to get ahead, and that’s when I decided it was time to see the vet.

Our vet told me that Daisy’s joints were starting to develop. Unfortunately, German Shepherds are very prone to hip, joint or elbow problems. My vet also pointed out that Daisy has started to gain more weight. I realized that when I noticed she was acting slower, I should adjust her food, feeding her a little less. Now, her weight puts even more pressure on her joints, making the problem worse.

The doctor prescribed a pain reliever, but warned that long-term use of it could harm her body, especially her liver. It helped somewhat, and I also started giving her a glucosamine supplement. While researching it, I realized that I should have started giving her a joint supplement years ago. Obviously large breeds should take something as early as 6 years old, to prevent future problems.

Sadly, after working with our vet for about another year, we made the heartbreaking decision to bring Daisy down at just 10 years old. Her body is too weak, and her inactivity makes other problems worse.

Fast forward recently, and my other dog Jaxson, (husky/sheepdog mix), is starting to deal with some separation anxiety issues as I begin my return to work post-college Translate. I had heard about broad spectrum hemp oil, and saw some good results with his anxiety after giving it to him. But that’s not all I noticed. He started to become more active over the years I met him. He was 12 years old and gradually became less active, but after giving him chewing, I couldn’t believe his recovery. He ran all over our yard, and asked to walk 3 times a day!!

IF ONLY I KNOW ABOUT CANNANINE YEARS AGO FOR EVERYDAY. I believe that if I give it to her, it will prolong her last days.

If you notice any of your dogs slowing down, there’s no reason not to try Cannanine. It helps reduce pain and inflammation.

The product I use with Jaxson is Hemp Cannanine Broad Spectrum Chewable, because it’s not only hemp oil but also glucosamine and a bunch of other supplements all in one. If you buy them all individually, they’ll be over $150 but it’s pretty affordable all in one chew.

Thanks for allowing me to share Daisy’s story. – Melissa P.
