I’m picky about a lot of things, but there’s nothing I’m more particular about the shoes. You wouldn’t know it from the 50 pairs of heels, boots, sneakers and sandals that are currently stacked in my closet (and elsewhere), but I tend to pick one that seems like perfect until I don’t want it anymore—That is, unless the shoes are real to be perfect. In that case, I’ll be the first to say, “I’ll take them.”
So I was shocked to find so many styles at Mango—Somewhere I rarely shop for shoes — checked all my boxes. Usually, I’ll see a pair in one of the the brand’s two NYC stores, look at them for a moment, then walk away. This time, walking away wasn’t even an option.
