Hunter x Hunter Manga Creator has one more chapter left to complete
Fans are one step closer to seeing the continuation of Hunter x Hunter comic. The series creator Yoshihiro Togashi gave Twitter to announce that he is just one chapter away from completing the latest release of the manga. Along with the announcement, Togashi also revealed a detailed sketch of Hiei’s character from YuYu Hakushoanother popular series he has created.
Back in May 2022, Togashi made fans of Hunter x Hunter after he suddenly revealed that he was continue working on the series after a nearly four-year hiatus. For the past few months, the creator has been posting pictures of his progress via his personal Twitter account every day. These images usually include page numbers and a few rough sketches. Details are still scarce and it’s unclear how many chapters or volumes Togashi plans to release.
With the final chapter milestone, Togashi decided to do something a little different.

In the latest update, Togashi also revealed the sketch of Hiei, one of the main characters of YuYu Hakusho. The sketch shows Hiei removing the bandages on his arm and releasing the Shadow Fire Dragon. Notably, Togashi noted that he originally intended to color in the sketch, but eventually gave up. Furthermore, according to the attached Twitter hashtag, the sketch was from “quite a while ago”.
Viz Media is in charge of the localization of Hunter x Hunter story. The anime adaptation is available to watch on Crunchyroll. There is no confirmed release date for the new manga chapters.
