HS canteen employee arrested for allegedly selling edible food


A Louisiana high school cafeteria worker has been arrested for allegedly selling “marijuana-infused food.” As reported by 25 News Today, the 45-year-old woman, named Tymetrica Cohns, is a temporary cafeteria worker at Jewel M. Sumner High School.

Cohns was arrested on Friday. Authorities in Tangipahoa Parish revealed that they were notified by a student of the woman’s alleged actions through the Crime Stoppers app.

The Tangipahoa parish school system issued an official statement on Friday, January 20.

Tangipahoa Parish Superintendent Melissa Stilley confirmed that a makeshift cafeteria worker at Sumner High was detained by police on Friday.

On Friday afternoon, school and law enforcement officials were notified of a possible threat involving a substitute cafe employee who allegedly sold a homemade baked goods. made with marijuana is also known as edible.
