On the NASA 2020 Mars Perseverance microsite, there’s a special page that lets you upload a photo of yourself or a loved one (or even a pet) on one of eight NASA backgrounds. The image gallery features different scenes of the Martian surface as well as a few images of the Mars mission control room.
And the best part is that you don’t even have to manually crop the image or remove the background of the image to add it to the website. You can choose any image, preferably where your entire frame can be seen, and upload it as is. NASA technology will automatically detect you in the foreground and remove the background from the image.
