How to get pre-sale tickets for Beyoncé .’s tour

Citi is TPG’s advertising partner.

Pre-sale access to tickets for Beyoncé’s tour will start in a week. However, it may start earlier for those with the right credit cards.

In addition to your Verified Fan access code, you can get tickets sooner if you have credit card citi or debit card, thanks Citi Entertainment special offers and promotions.

Citi cardholders get early access register for tickets today, February 1, at 10 a.m. (EST) to 11:59 p.m. tomorrow (EST).

You can basically sign up to be a verified fan through tomorrow and then you’ll be notified if you can get to the ticket purchase page. This is similar to the way tickets are sold for Taylor Swift.

Here are the details from Citi:

  • Registration for the Verified Fan-powered Citi presale in Chicago, East Rutherford, Washington DC, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Houston will close on Thursday, February 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
  • Registration for the Verified Fan-powered Citi presale in Minneapolis, Boston, Tampa, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, and Dallas will run through Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
  • Sign up for the Citi presale powered by Verified Fans in Philadelphia, Nashville, Louisville, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, St. Louis, Glendale, Kansas City, and New Orleans will end on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Can you go to Citi’s entertainment website to line up.

This is Beyoncé’s first worldwide concert series since her On The Run II tour in 2018 with her husband Jay-Z.

Citi told TPG that there will be a virtual lounge during the pre-sale, “This helps control how many people actually choose their tickets.”

Also, note that there is a ticket limit of four tickets per verified fan code.

Tickets to Beyoncé’s tour won’t go on sale to the public until the end of February. As we’ve seen with other popular tours — including harry style and Taylor Swift – tickets can be difficult to obtain. In fact, fans may have started to worry about whether they’ll be able to win tickets before tickets run out.

Citi Card Eligible for Presale

Luckily, you don’t have to be a professional ticket speculator to win tickets. Those with a Verified Fan access code will be able to apply for tickets starting at 10am (EST) today.

WEAKNESS

Even better, holders of certain Citi credit and debit cards will also be eligible to purchase tickets on this earlier timeframe:

Unfortunately, people with small business debit and credit cards are not eligible.

If you don’t currently have an eligible card, new registrants can also get access to pre-sale tickets. Some Citi credit cards allow you to apply and receive a virtual card number immediately if your application is approved immediately.

This includes Citi Custom Cash Card℠, Citi Rewards+® Thẻ Card, Citi Simplicity® Card and Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card — all cards with no annual fee. Note that you don’t have access to your credit card’s full spending limit until you get your actual credit card.

If approved immediately for your credit card application, there is an option to click “Get Card Number Today” to access your new card’s virtual number. Note that verification may be required to access your instant card number. When you see a green check mark, you can click “View Card Summary” to see your temporary card number and CVV number.

Save this information. You only have one chance to access your card once before your physical card arrives in the mail, which can take up to 10 days.

How to get Beyoncé pre-sale tickets with Citi card

You need a Citi credit or debit card number before participating in the Verified Fan process to be eligible for this presale. You can read here about how to get a verified fan account.

The first six digits of your credit card number (the virtual number above or from your physical credit card) is the BIN (banking identification number). These six numbers serve as the password to access the ticket presale after the Fan is Verified. A wide range of ticket options will be available during this pre-sale.

Follow these steps to get your pre-sale tickets:

  • At 10 a.m. (EST), navigate to cityentertainment.com to select the concert date and venue you want. This will take you to the ticket purchase page on the Ticketmaster website.
  • Use the first six digits of your Citi credit or debit card as the presale code.
  • You may be placed in a waiting room or a virtual queue, depending on your ticketing needs. If so, wait in this virtual lounge without leaving the page or refreshing — doing so you’ll be at the bottom of the line.
  • You can choose up to four tickets in this pre-sale — subject to availability.
  • Once the ticket is in your cart, you must pay with an eligible Citi card to complete the purchase.

Tips for getting beyoncé pre-sale tickets

Having a Citi credit or debit card providing access to this presale is only half the battle. If you’ve ever tried to buy the concert ticket everyone wants, you know that tickets can disappear quickly.

Here are some tips to help you improve your odds.

Pre-add qualifying cards to your Ticketmaster account

Attempting to add a credit card to your Ticketmaster account during a pre-sale can slow you down — that is, tickets disappear, site errors occur, or other issues prevent you from receiving tickets like desire.

To avoid this issue, pre-add an eligible Citi card to your Ticketmaster account. Make this card your default payment method and then you can pay faster when the pre-sale starts.

Log into your Ticketmaster account early if possible

Beyoncé’s pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Eastern time. However, you should log in to your account 30 minutes in advance to ensure that your password works, your payment and credit card information is correct, and that you know how to use the site.

With the Verified Fan presale, you’ll be invited into a “virtual lounge” up to half an hour before the sale begins. Entering as soon as possible will guarantee your place in the line.

There’s no guarantee that this presale will follow the same process, but logging in early and keeping your Ticketmaster account open means you can get into the queue (if any) as soon as possible. Once the pre-sale time arrives, if you haven’t been invited to the queue, it’s time to refresh the page and start securing your tickets.

Optimized for speed

Whether you’re using a computer or a phone, speed matters when supplies of hot items are limited.

If your home internet isn’t fast, find somewhere with a faster connection to access Wi-Fi during presale. Also, close additional apps, browser tabs, or anything else that’s slowing down your device or connection. Close those YouTube videos and resource-intensive apps like Slack and WhatsApp. You should also consider whether you want to try use the shopping portal to get extra rewards on your purchases or whether this could slow you down.

Have all the details handy

Since you need your BIN (the first six digits of your Citi credit or debit card), have it ready. Make sure you have your full card number, CVV (code on the back of the card), and payment information.

Also, make sure you know the exact date, time, and location of the concert you want to buy tickets for. The need to find this information slows down the ticket purchase process.

All of this will speed up the process as people start calling for tickets.

Don’t refresh at the wrong time

If you’re on a desktop (not mobile) and put in a virtual waiting room/queue, you shouldn’t refresh — not while you’re waiting and not when the pre-sale time arrives. When it’s your turn, you’ll have access to any available tickets.

However, if you’re waiting in line on your phone, it’s a good idea to scroll down from the top of your screen to refresh your browser page when it’s time to start the pre-sale. That will send you forward.

However, if there is no virtual lounge/queue before the pre-sale begins, you should refresh as soon as the clock hits **. In fact, you can start the refresh about 10 seconds before, hoping to get in as soon as possible.

When you see a number indicating your position in the line, don’t refresh. I repeat: Don’t refresh. If you do, you will go to the end of the line.

From that point forward, you should only refresh if you get an error message that says you need to refresh.

Watch out will call

If you use the pass in someone else’s name (friends, parents, etc.), you can get tickets on demand. This means that you must collect your tickets in person at the venue on the day of the concert.

To receive your ticket, you will need to present an ID that matches the name on the credit card used for purchase. That can be a problem if the cardholder can’t come with you to pick up the ticket.

You may not have this problem. You can use someone else’s card (with their permission, of course) and get your ticket with no problem. However, you may not.

bottom line

Getting those famous concert tickets takes a bit of luck and uses the tips we’ve shown above. Plus, you can access a special pre-sale for Beyoncé tickets if you have a Citi credit or debit card — increasing your chances of winning tickets by allowing you to buy them earlier.

While navigating all the strategies for getting tickets can feel overwhelming, these strategies will improve your chances and can make the difference between waiting a few minutes or a few hours to make a purchase. Ticket availability and selection may change significantly during that time.

Remember, Beyoncé pre-sale tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern time for Citi cardholders. Set your watch and make sure you’re ready first.
