How to get Google Assistant on Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
Samsung and Google made it a reality. The two companies have teamed up to bring Google Assistant arrive Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and Galaxy Watch 4.
That’s right; you now have the option of ditching Samsung’s Bixby in favor of Google’s digital assistant. Installing Google Assistant on your Galaxy Watch 4 should be seamless, but if it’s not, there’s an easy workaround.
How to get Google Assistant on your Galaxy Watch now
There are no software updates associated with the release of Google Assistant on the Galaxy Watch 4. Instead, your watch will automatically install the update for the Google Assistant without you having to do anything. .
The easiest way to check if your watch has apps installed is to check your apps list. I see Assistant installed and list it at the bottom of my apps list.
If you see the Google Assistant, tap it to start the setup process. If you don’t see the Google Assistant, go to this page Google Assistant list on Play Store, click Setting and select your watch from the list of available devices.
Once you’ve installed the Google Assistant, you’ll need to complete the setup before you can start using it. Open the Assistant app on your watch, then tap Begin. You are then prompted to complete the setup process on the phone your watch is paired with.
The Google Assistant will guide you through the rest of the process on your phone.

Once that’s done, you have one more task left to complete the transition from Bixby to Google Assistant.
On your watch, open Setting app then press Advanced Features > Customize the keys and in the Home key option press Press and hold Followed by Assistant.
Now, when you press and hold the Home button on your watch, the Google Assistant will launch. You can also use “Hey Google” to activate your new Personal Assistant.
