Modern digital cameras have unbelievable post-processing latitude and dynamic range compared to the cameras of a decade ago, and that has encouraged so many of us to simply increase shadow on every photo without any further thought. Is that the best choice, though? Maybe not. This great video discusses why you should rethink the way you handle shadows in your photos and how to continue to do so.
