“I walk 20 miles a day, either on the elliptical, by bike or outside on foot,” Syrus reveals. “And then I do the rest of my workouts on it.” That could mean a workout or a game of basketball, which he does three times a week while he’s at home.
But Syrus took his commitment to his new lifestyle to the next level after he was “a little scared” when his doctor told him his blood pressure was already high.
“I don’t know, I felt great and that was one of the factors that pushed it further,” he recalls. “I went down the road, but then I said, ‘Look, no, that’s impossible. This is going to change tomorrow.” And I just did everything I needed to do to bring that back.
