For most of my life, I have kept my hair long. My hair has become part of my identity — I’m known for having extra-long hair and I love my hair. I cut it off a few times and always let it grow back, but in the summer of 2020 I wanted a big change, so I cut it to a bob. Since then, I’ve been trying grow it backbut it’s not growing as fast as I’d like thanks to a few “maintenance” hair cutting and an extremely disastrous round of Highlights before I dyed my hair.
After my last haircut in December, I decided to get serious about growing my hair back. Hair typically grows about 6 inches a year, or half an inch a month. I’m an impatient person, so I’ve tried everything in the books to make my hair grow a little faster, and now that it’s been six months since my last haircut, I can see results.
