Upcoming Honkai Impact 3 The Chapter 28 story, “Beyond the Will”, will include new activities, limited-time events, and a new outfit for Umbral Rose. Story Chapter 28 will release sometime in v5.4 update. Story content will be available after the player completes Chapters 26 and 27.

Update v5.4 will introduce a new Interstice activity, and Interstice will be unlocked by players after completing Chapter 27. This activity includes four different themes, each corresponding to a specific difficulty level. . Utmost Fog is easy, Bedlam Zone is normal, and Shattered Illusion is difficult. The final theme is Endless Maelstrom, which players can complete multiple times to unlock milestones and score rewards.
Completing each Interstice topic will also reward players with discovery rates and Intel Points. Players can then use these Intel Points in the Intel Recovery screen to receive special rewards, such as the new Valkyrie Dawn skin for Umbral Rose and the four-star Rita: Spina Astera stigma mark. Additionally, players can also earn Intel Points by playing story events and exploring the map. The Intel Recovery Screen will be available after Chapter 28 is released.
