While I love trying out new denim brands, there’s only one that I’m really loyal to: Levi’s. The original, I know. But there’s a reason why the 150-plus year old denim brand is still loved by so many. Simply put, the jeans it produced had a better fit, were made of better materials, and were more durable than any jeans its competitors made—the period—especially the when it comes to its OG pants, 501s. While you don’t really need more proof of their superiority if you ask me, I’ll give it to you anyway.
hailey beiber, who has probably tried every high-end jeans on the market, always seems to go back to her 501s. Most recently, she wore a classic pair from LA-based Orlee Weisberg. classic denim trademark Orlee’s Denim, they are purposefully oversized and therefore sit low on Bieber’s waist. She teamed the jeans with a blue-and-white striped Loewe polo shirt, previously known leather bomber jacket and Bottega Veneta. West mule. It’s a combination that feels incredibly like 2023 even though her jeans were originally designed from the 1800s. Adding to its modern aesthetic, she wears sunglasses that are supposed to be. Most popular this year, Saint Laurent’s SL 557 Shade and Miu Miu’s Wander Matelassé bag, a style the Italian brand recreates season after season.
