Hailey Bieber is our outfit trend queen, so when she starts doing something new for her outfits on repeat occasions, I notice. I also notice when she stops wearing certain things. My latest observation is about her choice of pants. For years at this point, public opinion has revolved around high-waisted and high-waisted trousers, but you may have heard that things have changed since very late, and Bieber is positive proof of that.
So if you guessed that Bieber hugged loose pants recently, ding, ding, ding! Instead of pants with buttons at the bust, she focused on pants with buttons at the hipbone, often worn with crop tops to really become the low trend. And to be honest, this makes me question whether high-waisted pants are still “in shape” at this point. At least for now, I think the answer is yes – with the caveat that they’ll give your outfit a look that’s more classic than on-trend this season. So pick your boxer and move on to buy some low-rise pants that Bieber is sure to go for.
