Guilty Gear Strive DLC ‘Another Story’ drops next week – Destructoid

Now with 100% more Baiken

Guilty Gear Strive Season ticket holders may want to stock up on popcorn* this weekend, when the Arc System goes live announced that they’re dropping the “Another Story” DLC expansion on PC and PlayStation exactly one week from now: Friday, April 29.

Contrary to recent GG strives The DLC drops – which has brought us a bunch of great new characters, colors, and stages – “Another Story” is simply an extension to Strive’s tamed story mode. The new chapters, running parallel to the main timeline, will give us a glimpse of what the rest of the roster did while Sol Badguy, Giovanna, Goldlewis Dickinson, That Man et al. farted about in Washington DC

The new chapters will feature fan favorites like the ethereal Ramlethal, Happy Lucky, as well as the stoic samurai swordswoman Baiken. We’ll also meet a mysterious child, Delilah whose sinister history involves Bedman and Universal Will’s earlier attempts to destroy humanity. Curious. The Another Story DLC is an exclusive download for all Guilty Gear Strive Season pass holders, it will not be offered for separate purchase.

The Appearance of the Wish last month ended StrivingFirst run of DLC characters. But with EVO, Arcrevo World Tour and a huge community of players, the wild adventures of the GG team aren’t over yet and the smart money is on the second season tickets to be announced this summer.
