GT vs RR, Indian Premier League 2022 – “Chance Milne Ki Der Hai”: Wriddhiman Saha receives big praise from star of Indian cricket team

Wriddhiman Saha play a key role for the Gujarat Titans in their 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign. The hitter has scored over half a century this past season and finished with 317 runs in 11 games for an average of 31.70. Saha was promoted and opened for the Gujarat Titans. He did his fair share of the role and also performed well behind the trees. After GT’s IPL 2022 final victory over Rajasthan Royals, Mohammed Shami gave Saha winged compliments. The two players have been together in the Bengal state team, the Indian cricket team and now in the GT.

“He’s been with me for the past 20 years. We know each other well, we know what we can do. Everyone has seen the potential he has. Bas Chance milne ki der hai“, Shami said of teammate Wriddhiman Saha after the final victory of IPL 2022.

Saha, who played 40 Tests and 9 ODIs for India, was not considered for India’s 17-member Test team for the fifth rescheduled Test with England to take place at Edgbaston, Birmingham from July 1-5. India is currently leading the Test series with a score of 2-1.

“This is my fifth final after I won it for the second time. This is great. The way we played… some people said our squad wasn’t good. We proved it. everyone was wrong throughout the season and we won the final. It feels great,” Saha said.

“Mohammed Shami headed on the first ball in our first game. From there we were motivated. Throughout the season, everyone was excellent.”

Shami, who fired the captain of Lucknow Super Giants KL Rahul into the first ball in GT’s first game at IPL 2022, saying that’s all it takes to get off to a good start. “Our aim is to get off to a good start. We had a good pre-season training session. I was thinking about having to prepare for the right length. Need to have a good start. Line and level. length is important,” Shami said.
