A Golden Retriever named Bailey is extremely passionate about making sure he is people’s favorite pet. So whenever he sees Dad petting one of his four-legged siblings, he steps in. Bailey’s dad posted a hilarious video of the puppy’s antics to show how silly and adorable a jealous dog can be.
Another beloved dog
Bailey is a Golden Retriever dog from Spain, which is followed by many on social media thanks to his silly attitude. On his social media sites, he seems to spend a lot of time with different dogs, so he knows that other dogs will get attention sometimes. However, that doesn’t mean he has to like it.
In a recent video on one of Bailey’s YouTube pages, Bailey’s jealousy towards other dogs stands out. The video shows his human hugging his canine sibling, a Golden Retriever puppy named Mia. Mia seemed very happy to be in the favour, but it didn’t take long for Bailey to join in. The puppy quickly pushed his sister out of the way so he could get a replacement pet.

Despite being her sister, Mia is surprisingly calm when her brother gets in the way. She accepts that she won’t be hugged as much, so she gives Bailey and his self some space. However, their father wants to give both of them equal attention, so he continues to try to pet Mia despite Bailey’s behavior.
Bailey steals attention
The video lasted nearly three minutes, and during that time, Bailey never gave up trying to capture the limelight. Every time his human tries to pet Mia instead of him, he finds a way to make his sister move. Sometimes, he squeezes himself into his human lap, and other times, he pushes Mia out of the way. Even when Mia is keeping it to herself, Bailey tries to push her further away.
Although Bailey was jealous, no one was upset. Both dogs seemed pleased with each other’s silly behaviors and their humans couldn’t stop laughing at their interactions the whole time. It’s a healthy, uplifting video that’s sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.
This silly video is proof that dogs bring out the best in us and that they can spread joy just by being themselves. If only Bailey knew how much his silliness makes the internet smile!
