This is good news for those who like to travel by train (if you don’t, why?). Gather a group of four, be it family or friends, and you’ll get 25% off the entire ticket price. On top of that, this KTM promotion lasts all year, with a new promo code every month.
Here are the details. KTM’s Travel Sama-Sama campaign offers groups of at least four guests (adults or children) 25% off full fares for ETS and KTM Intercity. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a return trip or a return trip, and the promotion is valid for all fare classes and all days, Monday through Sunday.
However, one has to buy tickets from KTM website, KTM Mobile app or ticket machine (Kios Tiket TVM). Tickets must be purchased at least two weeks before the travel date and this promotion is only available to Malaysian citizens. Note that Travel Sama-Sama does not apply to KTM Komuter, Shuttle Timuran and Shuttle Tebrau – it is targeted at tourists.
Promo code for March is TRAVEL3SAMASAMA. Replace ‘3’ with ‘4’ for April and ‘5’ for May etc. to get group discounts for the whole year.
