Not sure if you’ve noticed, but a lot of the recent popular low-rise jeans outfits also include crop tops. I don’t know about you, but there aren’t many times when I feel comfortable wearing low-rise pants with a crop top, because it shows a lot of skin. (But if that’s the look you like to wear, I’m all for it.) My point in saying all of this is this. Gigi Hadid just provided an alternative — but no less fun — outfit idea for wearing low-rise pants or jeans.
Earlier this week, Hadid was in New York to celebrate her collaboration with Frankies Bikinis, and she found a very creative way to wear one of the swimsuits in the collection. She paired a one-piece top with low-rise pants, heels, and a ruched top. (Even so, the outfit would look great with any jacket or blazer, or without a third piece at all.)
The great thing about this outfit is that it still shows a bit of flesh (in the hipbones), but it’s a lot less intimidating than wearing a crop top, if you ask me. And it gives you a reason to wear your favorite swimsuits for more than just a day at the beach or pool.
