George Clooney said he once turned down $35 million to shoot an ad.
“I was offered $35 million a day for an airline commercial, but I talked to Amal about it and we decided it wasn’t worth it. [associated with] a country, even though it’s an ally, sometimes there are still doubts, and so I thought, “Well, if it takes me a minute to fall asleep, it’s not worth it,” he said.

He also shared why he doesn’t appear on our screens as much.
“Overall, there aren’t that many great parts – and, look, I don’t have to act. My wife and I talked about this when I turned 60 this summer. I said, ‘I still have it. We can’t be pretty, and we both love what we do. But we have to make sure we don’t call ourselves silly.’ So part of that is just us. I make sure we live our lives.”
