It will run from August 24 to 28, 2022, with Opening Night Live occurred on August 23, 2022.
The COVID section of website also note the details of attending in person. It confirms that anyone attending an event, such as Gamescom 2022, at Koelnmesse will have to present proof of vaccination of the European Union Digital Covid Certificate. Those who do not have such documentation can present proof of an approved vaccine. The center’s official website also says people can pay to take the COVID-19 test on the construction site. Venture beats also note that fewer in-person tickets will be sold than in previous years.
As for the Gamescom Goes Green elements, there are also details on its measures to reduce CO2 emissions and be environmentally friendly. There will be things like free VRS and DB tickets for travel. There will be a bike show and bike stations.
